This flatbed scanner provides an Optical resolution of 1200x2400 dpi and has 48bit colour depth. It allows features like direct scan to print feature, colour correction, text enhancing technology, Optical character recognition and an USB port interface. The scanner draws the power required from the USB connection therefore no extra power cord needed. Its Super SIE (Superior Image Enhancement) provides auto positioning and focusing technology to secure a sharper scanning quality. It has five easy scan buttons for Scan to File, Email, Copy, Text and Photo Editing. Its slimline body is packed with features, including CCD technology for superior quality and detail, and flexible 2-way portrait and landscape scanning. It comes with Epson Easy Photo Fix, the amazing all-in-one tool that restores photos to their original glory. This scanner operates on an easy on-touch operation for start, copy, scan to email or PDF. It offers scanning in portrait as well as landscape mode. It features 180 º hinges that means you can scan even large textbooks with ease and also restores faded colours and removes dust automatically by its Epson Easy Photo Fix technology. It is compatible to USB 2.0 interface.

The Benq 5550T is also a flatbed colour scanner with CCD scanner element, it has an USB 2.0 interfaces. It incorporates a Transparent Media Adaptor (TMA) that can automatically detect the format of the film/slide to be scanned and applied optimized setting.
